I'm sitting here drinking my coffee, listening to QVC and messin' with my templates some more...can life be any better?!?!
We had a good weekend here. I left the house once to get salsa ingredients that turned out pretty good even if it was brown!
The appeal is done, half-assed, but it's done! This guy was manufacturing meth and possessing it. He had a wild-eyed look about him and was having difficulty grasping the English being spoken by anyone in the courtroom! It's sad what that stuff does to a person, except for the weight loss!! Because he had two prior felonies, he was considered a big habitual offender -- or "big bitch" as it's called in the pen! -- and got life for this offense. So, yeah, no doubt he was going to appeal.
I've got errands to run out the whazoo, but here I sit instead. I could easily become a hermit I think. One is to the post office to FINALLY send out a box of stuff for Melanie or maybe I should wait ONE more day. She's benefiting from my procrastinating...believe me!!
I hope to get in the bead room and work on some stuff when I get back. I got in there yesterday and cleaned up/organized some more. It's better...I'll leave it at that! Melanie's got me thinking about fall and those kinds of colors. I did work up a bracelet and earrings with some brown/rust/carnelian. Turned out right nice if I do say so myself!
My caffiene is finally kicking in so that ought to make me get up and get moving. If I knew I wouldn't get the gross sores all over me and lose my teeth...and every brain cell...I'd be tempted to try that meth. Guess I'll stick to the caffiene and sugar highs instead! :)
